Rock Orchestra

National Honors Society

Gender and Sexuality Alliance (GSA) 9-12 Sarah Tabor Lunch Tuesdays Room 183 The GSA provides a safe and welcoming space for any student who wants to talk about issues related to sexual orientation or gender identity and expression. Everyone is welcome to join, regardless of identity.
Prom Committee 11-12 Tamara Spangler TBD Prom Committee hosts prom each spring. It is primarily made up of juniors, as prom is technically “Junior Prom,” however, seniors are invited to join Prom Committee as auxiliary members.
Link Crew 11-12 Beth Cusick TBD Link Crew members mentor freshman throughout their first year at BHS and building relationship with students to facilitate their entrance into the BHS community.
Theater Tour Club 9-12 Kristin Wilcox TBD To give Belgrade students an opportunity to view live theatre in the world’s most iconic theatrical locations, namely New York, LA, London, and Paris.

Writing Center 9-12 Joy Bennett Daily at Lunch Provide peer tutoring or support for academic, college, and career writing
Chess 9-12 Dylan Goheen Tuesdays & Thursdays at Lunch Students play, study, and enjoy the game of chess
Spirit Club 9-12 Tamara Spangler Room 207, time TBD To use school spirit to engage more of the student body to create a welcoming and exciting game day environment. We fuel the passion and energy on campus and aim to elevate the student experience for every Panther.  
Pep Band 9-12 Drake Pannell TBD To teach kids the skill of marching while playing their instruments and generating school spirit during football games.
Marching Band 9-12 Drake Pannell Monday, Thursday 6:30-8:00 To give band kids the opportunity of playing modern popular music while also generating school spirit.
Student Council 9-12 Meghan Moosbrugger TBD Student Council acts as a voice for the student body. Each class has the opportunity to have class representation, but all students are welcome to join StuCo. Within StuCo, there is a board: President (who is also our Student Body President), Vice President, and Secretary).
Panther Peers 9-12 Stefanie Lasher, Stacy Bunko, Alec Von Alvensleben TBA Student Council acts as a voice for the student body. Each class has the opportunity to have class representation, but all students are welcome to join StuCo. Chanson Choir 9-12 Morgan Kirk Tuesdays @ 12:30 in the Choir Room (137) To provide students the opportunity to sing higher level music and explore different musical styles popular in  the Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, and Classical periods. Chanson performs at every choir concert and MHSA events. Open to students enrolled in auditioned choir classes.
Azules Jazz Choir 9-12 Morgan Kirk Thursdays @ 12:30 in the choir room (137) Azules Jazz Choir gives students the opportunity to explore pop, jazz, blues, and other styles of music. Azules  perform at every choir concert. Open to all students, but those not enrolled in a choir class cannot perform at District Festival as per MHSA rules.
Art Club 9-12 Leslie Ruane Tuesdays @ Lunch room 106A

The purpose of the Art Club is to encourage fine art awareness and increase the art department’s presence in the Belgrade & Gallatin County community. To enhance, enrich, and foster art club member’s exposure to art and creativity through field trips, student exhibitions, community service projects and workshops.

Belgrade FFA 9-12 Kyle Gavin, Evan Nilsen First Tuesday each month @ 6:30pm, Room 107 FFA is an intra-curricular student organization for those interested in agriculture an leadership
FCCLA 9-12 Melanie Young Wednesday at lunch To promote personal growth and leadership development through Family and Consumer Sciences education. Focusing on the multiple roles of family member, wage earner, and community leader, members develop skills for life through character development, creative and critical thinking, interpersonal communication, practical knowledge, and career preparation.
Color Guard / Winter Guard 9-12 Jessica VanGarderen Monday, Thursday 6-8 Color Guard/Winter Guards  purpose is to perform different dance movements, and the manipulation of flags to create a show that is exciting and beautiful, combining athleticism and artistry.
Fellowship of Christian Athletes 9-12 Matt Hoskins Every other Wednesday, Hoskins Classroom

We seek to make leaders in our school and community by the strategy of engaging, equipping, and empowering coaches, and athletes to know, and grow in Christ through our example on and off the field, as well as bring others to Him through discipleship.
