Tutor: ~ Katherine Henry

Hello Belgrade students: my fellow future healthcare workers, artists, tradesmen, educators, lawmen, and financiers. No matter what job you apply for, internship you take, or project you tackle, the way in which you speak and use your language will always have an impact. It will always matter. But what does not matter, is the subject that we tutors at the writing center are willing to help you with. 

Whether it be college applications, an essay for your English class, a personal writing piece, or even poetry, we are here to assist you in whichever way you need. 

I'm Katherine, and I am most eager to assist with college applications and any academic endeavors. I’ve always done well in English and scored a full 5 on the 2025 AP Language and Composition exam, and earned a perfect English score on the ACT. I very much enjoy hearing about your aspirations, and I’m even more excited to help you on your journey, wherever you are on it. See you soon.

Writing is a crucial communication skill in both the classroom and workplace. This can make any writing assignment from that one paragraph that’s raising your blood pressure to the dreaded literary analysis feel all the more daunting. But good news - it doesn’t have to. 

As a writing tutor, I am here to provide resources, guidance, and support so you can reach your personal goals in a less stressful way. I have worked with fellow students in various stages of the writing process, and, as a member of choir and theater, I understand that teamwork is the best way to achieve results. 

If you need someone to encourage you and help alleviate a bit of stress, you can find me during our writing center office hours

Clear writing starts with clear thinking, and I’m here to help you get there. 

As a peer tutor, I enjoy making writing less intimidating. Whether it’s an essay, story, or research paper, I’ve worked with students at all levels to strengthen their voice and structure. You’ll usually find me with a red pen or a novel in hand. No matter if you're brainstorming or polishing a final draft, I can help you write with more clarity and confidence.
